What is Clash of Critters?

Clash of Critters is a tower-defense creature collector with pinball progression by Farlight Games (the publisher behind AFK Journey), available on iOS, Android (PC via Android emulator). It went global on May 20, 2026 after a Google Play soft launch, and by August it sits at 5M+ downloads with 4.9 on the App Store. You collect 224 Tatari (the creatures were renamed from "Critters" in March 2026) across five elements, evolve them to Tier 4 and rare Glitter forms, and place them in lanes to stop waves of Zobos through 120 chapters of 80 stages. Everything else — candy, capsules, event currency — comes out of the Pinball Machine. Start with the tier list, check the codes, then look up any creature in the Tatari database.

Get Started in 5 Steps

  1. Redeem the two working codes.welcomegift and weeklygift give pinballs and capsules on day one — see the codes page for where the redeem box hides (Friends icon → Settings cog).
  2. Learn the element wheel. Fire → Grass → Rock → Lightning → Water → Fire. Every lane shows a green thumb when you have it right — the counters guide explains the 200%/50% rule.
  3. Pick one line per element to evolve. Cheerling, Zappur, Voltfawn, Frugling, Frostnip, Pyropup and Rubblet are the safe projects; the evolution priority guide says what to do first and the evolution guide explains stars and trials.
  4. Shoot your pinballs every day. Shields, capsules, candy and event currency all come from the machine — keep shields topped up so raids don't steal candy (Pinball guide).
  5. Join the 3-hour events. Horde Invasion every three hours, Goldrush weekly, Treasure Hunt, Fishing and Marathon in rotation — the events guide lists what each one pays.

FAQ

Is it Clash of Critters, Clash of Critter, or Critters Clash?

The official title is Clash of Critters (stylised CoC by players, not to be confused with Clash of Clans). "Clash of Critter", "Clash of Criiters" and "Critters Clash" are misspellings of the same Farlight Games title. The creatures were called Critters until the March 11, 2026 update renamed them Tatari, which is why older guides and the Fandom wiki still say "critters".

Who made Clash of Critters and when did it come out?

Clash of Critters is developed and published by Farlight Games (FARLIGHT PTE. LTD., the Lilith Games publishing label behind AFK Journey and Dislyte). It soft-launched on Google Play in 2025 with beta updates from December 2025, and the global iOS/Android launch was May 20, 2026 (the App Store lists May 20; IGN lists May 16 for the first regions).

Can you play Clash of Critters on PC?

There is no native PC or Steam version. The only way to play on a computer is an Android emulator such as BlueStacks, which the developer's own code-redeem steps reference. Your account carries over if you bind it to the same login.
