Clash of Critters FAQ

The official title is Clash of Critters (stylised CoC by players, not to be confused with Clash of Clans). "Clash of Critter", "Clash of Criiters" and "Critters Clash" are misspellings of the same Farlight Games title. The creatures were called Critters until the March 11, 2026 update renamed them Tatari, which is why older guides and the Fandom wiki still say "critters".

Clash of Critters is developed and published by Farlight Games (FARLIGHT PTE. LTD., the Lilith Games publishing label behind AFK Journey and Dislyte). It soft-launched on Google Play in 2025 with beta updates from December 2025, and the global iOS/Android launch was May 20, 2026 (the App Store lists May 20; IGN lists May 16 for the first regions).

There is no native PC or Steam version. The only way to play on a computer is an Android emulator such as BlueStacks, which the developer's own code-redeem steps reference. Your account carries over if you bind it to the same login.

No. It needs an internet connection for the Pinball Machine raids, co-op events (Horde Invasion, Island Goldrush, Treasure Hunt) and daily resets. Battles cannot be played offline.

Partly. New Tatari come from Capsules (Green, Blue, Purple, Wishbox) that drop from the Pinball Machine and events, so collection has a random element and duplicates raise a Tatari's star level. There is no character banner with a pity counter; progression is gated by pinballs, candy and evolution trials rather than by pulls.

Unconfirmed as of Aug 23, 2026. Farlight has not published a statement either way; the question appears in Google autocomplete and on Reddit, and the Tatari gallery descriptions on both wikis credit in-house writing. We will add an official answer if one is released.

The official Discord invite is discord.com/invite/7nEcSh73dB and the subreddit is r/ClashofCritters (about 16.5K members). The Discord is also where players post stage-by-stage formations — search a stage number such as "11-50" to find teams that cleared it.

Daily rankings for Island Goldrush kills and leagues settle at 00:00 UTC, and the in-game day (daily quests, Boss Challenge, 15 feedings) rolls over on the same server clock. Horde Invasion runs every 3 hours: 2 hours open, 1 hour cooldown.

Every Tatari can be raised to 78 stars by collecting duplicates (the star icon changes every six levels, from bronze stars up to an iridescent six-pointed star). Wiki data shows an extra 80-86 range unlocked later for some Tatari. Feeding caps at 15 meals per day and Blue (common) Tatari cannot pass feeding stage 10.

Your UID shows on your profile (added in the July 15, 2026 patch — tap your avatar). Account linking lives under the Friends icon → Settings cog → account section; Farlight support handles email changes through the in-game customer-service button, not through a website form.

Each day you may attack up to 100 times; after 10 attacks the Tired debuff raises Energy cost (20% after 10, 50% after 15, 80% after 20, 100% after 25, 200% after 30, 300% after 35, 500% after 40). It resets with the daily reset. Energy you commit to an attack is refunded if the tile is captured before your attack lands; unspent Energy stays in your inventory for the rest of the event. Fatigue applies to rally attacks too because every attack counts. See the Goldrush guide for the full table.

Your league's score is the gold its captured tiles produce per hour (60 for a Small Field up to 1,800 for a Gold Vein) plus, in Deepsea Dive (Aug 12, 2026), the points from harvested shells. League rankings settle daily at 00:00 UTC; since Jul 1, 2026 league rewards are paid on the final day, with MVP rewards for top players and extra rewards for the top 3 kill teams.

Your UID is shown on your profile (tap your avatar) — keep it for support tickets. Farlight support handles unbinding and email changes through the in-game customer-service button.

Evolution is per Tatari, not a count of T2s. A Purple line evolves to T2 at about 6 stars plus a small task; T3 needs that Tatari's own star threshold plus a two-part trial (feed its stats up 3 times and an element event task such as 20,000 pinballs for Grass or 5,000 Energy Drinks for Rock). Badge Dojo unlocks do count evolutions: Dojo 2 needs 5 Gold (T2) evolutions of the element, Dojo 3 one Red (T3). See the evolution guide and Badge Dojo page.

Use the pre-battle Zobo panel (elements, density, Zobo types) and the defeat report: if your counter-element lanes die before the timer, you need more level or evolution; if the wrong-element lanes die first, it is placement, not level. Boss stages every 10th stage are the real checks — Chapter 1 bosses are Lvl 7–36, Chapter 6 around Lvl 146–150, Chapter 11 around Lvl 279–282, Chapter 45 around Lvl 1,186 per the Fandom boss tables.

Card Sleeves (Jul 29, 2026 patch) let you preserve an album card in the Card Museum at your camp so it stays viewable after the album event ends. You earn sleeves by completing card sets (sets completed before the patch were credited retroactively); if you run out you can spend pinballs to preserve a card.
