Cactobloom – Grass DPS

In-game bio: “Cactobloom loves putting on little tricks for Tatari, like rolling through berry bushes and coming out covered in fruit. It's a talent that's earned plenty of berry-loving friends.”

How to use Cactobloom

Deploy Cactobloom in the back row, behind a Tank or Guardian, so it can fire the whole lane. As a Grass Tatari it should face Rock Zobos and avoid lanes with Fire Zobos — the game shows a green thumb when the match-up is right. Its skill hits an area, so it likes lanes where Zobos bunch up. Cactobloom is T2 — the line gets its full kit at Cactoczar, so treat this form as a stepping stone.

Tier verdict for the Cactobud line (B): Grass DPS stacking Sting that implodes on kills; only three stages, so no T4 ceiling.

Cactobud line Horde Invasion skills

In Zobo Horde Invasion every Tatari learns three extra skills at Horde levels 3, 5 and 7; they are shared by the whole Cactobud line (only the base skill differs per form).

BaseNeedle Rain: Launches spines to inflict Sting. DMG increases with the number of Sting stacks.
Level 3Prickly Pace: Periodically gains ATK Speed.
Level 5Spiny Fans: Launches 3 bursts of fan-shaped spines.
Level 7Prickly Pal: Periodically summons a cactus ally that fires piercing spines in 8 directions. The spines explode after a delay, dealing small AoE damage.
