Buzzbeak – Lightning Tank
In-game bio: “Often taken for a foodie because of the size of that mouth, Buzzbeak's appetite is actually quite small. That said, it is a convenient hiding place for odd things... like the [[NPCs#Doctor Looney|Doctor]]'s glasses that have gone missing.”

How to use Buzzbeak
Deploy Buzzbeak in the front row, where it absorbs the first Zobos of each wave. As a Lightning Tatari it should face Water Zobos and avoid lanes with Rock Zobos — the game shows a green thumb when the match-up is right. Buzzbeak is T2 — the line gets its full kit at Technocan, so treat this form as a stepping stone.
Tier verdict for the Sparkeet line (B): Lightning Tank that links allies for ATK Boost; official guide lists it low priority ("buffing allies often leaves it exposed"), Technocan (T4) added Aug 12, 2026.
Sparkeet line Horde Invasion skills
In Zobo Horde Invasion every Tatari learns three extra skills at Horde levels 3, 5 and 7; they are shared by the whole Sparkeet line (only the base skill differs per form).
| Base | Twin Charge: Gains Charged - DMG Reduced and links 2 allies, granting them Charged - ATK Boost. |
|---|---|
| Level 3 | Lightning Fast: Periodically sends down lightning nearby, dealing small AoE damage. |
| Level 5 | Orbs Away: Periodically launches electric orbs. |
| Level 7 | Full Charge: Links all allies, granting them Charged: ATK Boost and Charged: DMG Reduction. |
Horde verdict (A): Official guide lists it as "a reliable tank for Horde Invasion"; level 7 "Full Charge" links all allies for ATK Boost and DMG Reduction.
